The oil pan skid includes an oil drain panel that allows the oil to be changed without removing the skid. For 2007-2011 Jeeps, the oil pan skid bolts to our transmission skid. For 2012+ Jeeps, the oil pan and transmission skid are one piece. Both versions of the oil pan skid bolts to the Jeep's cross member and allows the use of a long arm suspension kit without cutting.
The transfer case skid replaces the factory skid and offers greater protection.
The gas tank skid covers the entire gas tank front to back. Some minor trimming of the factory gas tank skid is required and can be easily done in a few minutes.
Available in bare steel or bare aluminum, black satin finish or textured epoxy finish. Our aluminum skid system weighs approximately 1/2 the weight of our steel skids (62 pounds). Steel weight is 125 pounds. Made from 3/16" Steel or 1/4" Aluminum.

Note: Our aluminum skids, while offering excellent protection, will not stand up to the same level of abuse as our steel skids. Also available with replaceable UHMW Polyethylene skins. UHMW stands for Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene and these 3/16" thick panels are specially designed for sliding over rocks. They can be used with the steel or aluminum skids. We strongly recommend them with our aluminum skids, which are made from 1/4" material. The aluminum skids will protect your system, but they will get scratched if you wheel them hard so the UHMW protects the aluminum and helps them to slide over the rocks instead of getting scratched up!
